Your
I know it is for me.
In fact, my doctor told me that a good diet of sarcasm could add years to the life of people who regularly piss me off.
It’s fun to make fun of people (especially when they don’t realize it) `
Sarcasm can be cheap therapy (saving you on those psychiatrist bills)
Sarcasm makes it appear that you are smarter than everyone else (makes you feel amazing)
Being sarcastic could be hazardous to your health (like dodging foreign objects being thrown at you)
I am sure that some of you can relate to that.
My earliest recollection of having a sarcastic mind was somewhere around 4th grade when my science teacher was showing a diagram of the different parts of the ear and I proceeded to shout out my curiosity and asked if she was talking about the Erie Canal? True Story!
I began to feel a bit guilty about having an unfair advantage over people and if there is one thing that bothers me it’s being superior to others.
I started to feel sorry for people whose sarcasm didn’t come naturally so a few years ago I decided to mentor them and started a Facebook page called Sarcasm 101 but just recently changed the name to Sarcasm Junkie.
You don’t even have to actually say anything sarcastic to anyone; you can let your tee shirt do the talking for you.
Whether you are at the gym, hanging out at your local coffee shop or doing whatever, your mood or message that day can speak to the people you come into contact with.
I normally get a bunch of dirty looks but sometimes I even meet a new friend or business contact
At least people know what I am all about from the get-go, lol
I am totally convinced that if there were more sarcasm in the world, people would be more productive, smile more and there would probably be a decline in serious crimes.
I am also a huge fan of Larry David’s HBO show Curb your Enthusiasm where season 10 began in January
He might have curbed his enthusiasm but he certainly hasn’t curbed his sarcasm. That’s what I love about him, honest, raw and darn funny.
Then there’s another idol of mine Steven Wright, a master of dry sarcasm.
Have you ever thought about why people drive on the parkway and park on the driveway?
Or why they’re called apartments if they are all attached?
People sometimes ask me how long I have been sarcastic and I just give them my date of birth.
I can almost remember the time I was still in my Mother’s womb and heard her say I wish this kid would come out already. In my tiny little underdeveloped brain, I was thinking to be careful what you wish for dear mom.
Whenever I see other people walking around with custom printed apparel with funny sarcastic sayings, it warms my heart.
But in all seriousness, yeah right ?
There are other more important things in life than sarcasm; it’s just that I haven’t discovered those other things yet.
If you want to broaden your sarcastic horizons please check out our various resources at the bottom of this post.
Leave a Comment / Working From Home Threads / By Mitch Summer
With major health concerns for our public’s safety these days, a large majority of individuals are working from home either by choice or due to the government’s instructions.
Most of us have been in isolation or only with our immediate families.
How does one stay sane during this period of uncertainty?
Being patient and staying calm could certainly help matters but in the meantime, look at the bright side. While working at home you can dress comfortably with your favorite tee, pair of sweats or in your underwear if that’s what gets you through the day.
Personally, I am in gym shorts and a comfy tee for the most part.
When jumping on a virtual business video call, I might throw on a casual business shirt but still in those gym shorts, I am just mindful about standing up during the conversation, lol
Why not try and keep motivated and stay focused by wearing some custom printed tee shirts.

Nobody will be shopping at the mall or retail stores anytime soon but that’s where the beauty of the internet comes in.
You can choose your favorite tee and select a pre-made design or have even more fun by designing your own.
A really great way to have a bit of distraction while outfitting yourself comfy things to wear while you are working in tu casa.
Yoga & Meditation can “work” wonders.
Don’t forget to take a break from the grind; we all need time to do a reset.
Invite the family and dog to join in. Family time is so important as well.
Take a walk while practicing Social Distancing
Listen to your favorite music that can soothe your soul.
Togetherness can alleviate the mundane work schedule and your family will enjoy it as well, that’s if you are still talking to your family at this point after being cooped up for so long. lol
Hmm, how do you dress for work, what about your makeup or do you need to take a shave?
But wait, you’re working from home until who knows when you don’t need to worry about any of that.
Pull out the sweats, or shorts and tee shirt or hoodie and get back being productive.

And that’s just what Meryl Katlin has been doing for the past 8 years.
In 2012 after participating in Coral Springs annual Our Town America event, the idea was created and it was the beginning of the Make A Tee Online Annual Tee Shirt Design Contest
Here is one of our 1st Place winners Mia
TypeStyles Printing & Graphic Design purchased one of the first DTG (Direct to Garment) printing machines in the South Florida area. With a lot of calls for small orders (no minimum) of full color printed tee shirts, now custom tee shirt art can be printed directly onto the t-shirt. The Our Town America event was a perfect opportunity to show the locals how this Digital Tee-Shirt Printing Machine worked.
With a giving back to the community type of mentality, the contest idea was a huge success. Children of all ages were able to participate in a competitive contest featuring their creativity and artistic abilities.
Think of it as a tee shirt fashion show.
The kids so look forward to the contest each year and to see their dedication and hard work just melts your heart. One parent had commented about her daughter “ She Lives for this competition every year” Being a proud parent is also a darn good feeling.
Many community art teachers have also been fantastic supporters.
There is no question that some of these kids are super, super talented.
Families from all over the world have been able to be reached and interact and vote on their favorite designs. Community growth and recognition mean a lot to these kids and parents as well.
What a great way for countries all over the universe to connect with their youth population.

We are always looking for new ways to improve the experience for the kids.
Because it’s all about the kids right. Ok well, maybe the parents too.
George Washington the “Father of the Nation,” had no biological children of his own although his better half Martha had four children prior to them hooking up. I didn’t even realize this until I did the research the other day.
So instead of honoring old George on Father’s Day this June 21st, let’s honor a bunch of not so famous guys but nevertheless great Fathers in their own right.
“It means everything. I have never loved any role in my life more. The blessing to raise five children, give them a foundation in their lives, share special times with them…..it is heavenly.
I think the most precious gift anyone can have is a child. I am fortunate that I am close with each of my children AND they all like each other as well as love one another.”
Scott B.
“To me fatherhood is a precious humbling gift that transcends all other relationships and undertakings. I have learned over the years and life experiences that we are all imperfectly perfect beings and so I believe a father has to be real, truthful and consistent in his actions and to be present and create an environment where children and family can feel safe, supported, loved, educated and free to investigate and express their true selves.”
Ron L.
“One word comes to mind “Love” – how can you make sure your children know you love them. No matter how you have to be a role model, disciplinarian, comic relief, homework helper, etc.”
Shawn A.
“Tough question. Instilling in them to be the best individuals they can be in society without measuring their success by someone else’s standards. My wife and I have also taught our youngest children the value of “no.” They have learned to both accept that answer without feeling rejected and to give that answer without feeling as though they were being offensive.”
Scott B.
“I just can not quantify my “biggest” impact as a father’s relationship is so integrated, complicated and diverse. I think showing my children, along with my wife, not so much what love is ( that is a feeling which vacillates) but what commitment looks like in everyday life is a huge impact.”
Ron L.
“The biggest impact I have made as a father is being there and being present for the important moments (like the first soccer practice) because I missed some of them along the way and I now know, nothing, not work or that potential business deal is worth it. I am not perfect at this but learning how to be more present every day.”
Shawn A.
“To have taught them about finances at much earlier ages.”
Scott B.
“You know the expression – it is better to teach one how to fish as opposed to giving them the fish. In hindsight I must say that I would spend more time with the teaching as opposed to giving.”
Ron L.
“Remove the distractions of technology, the phone and tablets for both myself and my three kids. Go for more walks, play outdoors more, hug more, and talk more.”
Shawn A.
“My dad had an amazing work ethic. He worked 365 days a year. He taught me the value of education, owning your own home early in life, and how to put my children before me.”
Scott B.
“My father by his actions showed me unconditional love and support, that it was ok to hug and show love and that I can achieve and to go out and compete for whatever my goals were.”
Ron L.
“My father was not always there when I was young but as an adult we have built a stronger bond and relationship. Unbeknownst to him he has taught me to see the positive in things and see each day as it comes good or bad. Also, that simplicity can bring you peace.”
Shawn A.
“There is a solution to every problem. Never give up.”
Scott B.
“In these turbulent times, I believe it is critically important to have the best education possible, to determine one’s essential values and be able to explain them. This will show one’s character and integrity; which is our essential being. “Say what you mean and mean what you say.”
Ron L.
“They will grow up and they will grow up fast, when they ask you to play with them and to do things with them do it because one day they won’t ask you and you will regret it; regret not doing it. And now you will be the one asking to spend time with them but they may just be a little too busy for you with their own life and distractions.”
Shawn A.
You will all be receiving a complimentary tee shirt from our store.
